Developmental - Short Course Season Only (September-February

• 8/unders or any 9 year olds who require additional technique work
• Prerequisite
  • 1 lap of the pool unassisted and without stopping or touching the bottom
• Practices 3 X weekly
  • No practice requirement but recommends 2 practices
• Focuses 
  • Basic understanding of Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly
  • Learning to love the sport of swimming 
• End of Season Goal
  • 8 year olds - ability to legally swim all 4 strokes without stopping
  • 7 year olds - ability to legally swim freestyle and backstroke and either butterfly or breaststroke
  • 6/under - ability to legally swim freestyle and backstroke
