Senior 1
- 12-14 year old swimmers
- Prerequisite
- Ability to mentally and physically handle a 2 hour practice
- Ability to make 10 X 100 under 1:30
- Ability to swim 100 of each stroke legally and a 200 IM
- Practices 6 X Weekly for 2 hours
- No practice requirement but recommends 3-4 practices to maintain skills, reccomends 5-6 practices for swimmers wishing to achieve championship cuts.
- Focus
- Working aerobic and anaerobic systems throughout the season.
- Goal setting related to outcome versus process goals
- Technique work related to all four strokes
- Continuing to love the sport even when sets are difficult
- End of Season Goal
- Swim at least one 200 odd stroke event / Distance free event
- Improve and work on strokes and maximizing technique to improve time
First Day of Practice: September 12th, 2023
Last Day of Practice: TBD - Mid/Late March
Senior 2 Boys
- High School Boys
- Prerequisite
- At least 2 years of prior swimming experience
- Ability to mentally and physically handle a 2 hour practices
- Ability to make 10 X 100 Free under 1:20
- Practices 6X Weekly for 2 hours
- No practice requirement but recommends 3-4 practices per week to maintain skills, 5-6 practices for those wanting to making championship cuts.
- Focus
- Working on building each swimmer up so they are prepared to enter their high school season
- Continued work on technique and terminology knowledge
- Continue to love the sport even when sets are difficult
- End of Season Goal
- Prepare swimmers for their high school season
- Understand advanced swimming terminology and purposes
- Improve and work on strokes and maximizing technique to improve time
First day of practice: September 12th, 2023
Last day of practice: High school swimmers are welcome to swim with us throughout their high school season
Senior 2 Girls
- High School Girls
- Prerequisite
- At least 2 years of prior swimming experience
- Ability to mentally and physically handle a 2 hour practices
- Ability to make 10 X 100 Free under 1:20
- Practices 6X Weekly for 2 hours
- No practice requirement but recommends 3-4 practices per week to maintain skills, 5-6 practices for swimmers wishing to make championship cuts
- Focus
- Working on building each swimmer back up from their rested high school season and preparing them for spring championship season
- Continued work on technique and terminology knowledge
- Continue to love the sport even when sets are difficult
- End of Season Goal
- Prepare swimmers for their high school season
- Understand advanced swimming terminology and purposes
- Improve and work on strokes and maximizing technique to improve time
