In swimming the Girls team was 8-1 in their dual meet season, only losing to Bolles, and they defeated American Heritage, St. Andrews and all other schools in South Florida that would swim them in a dual meet, and the Girls team was the District Champion TEAM; Region Champion Team; and State Runner Up team defeating ALL Broward and South Florida schools at the State Series Championship meets, including American Heritage, St. Thomas, Cardinal Gibbons, etc.
The Boys team was also 8-1 in Dual meets only losing to Bolles, and the Boys team was the District Champion Team; Region Champion Team; and State Runner Up; also Thomas Veale has been named as the Male Swimmer of the Year; and was State Champion in the 500 free and the Boys 200 Free Relay team of Marcel Bestchart, Gotti Eisenberger, Descartes Holland, and Thomas Veale were the State Champion in that event and set a new school record. So Panthers defeated every Boys team in Broward County in the State Series Championship meets and in dual meets with those that would swim Pine Crest.
