COMMENT: 8-1 dual meet record; only loss was to state champion Jacksonville Bolles. After winning district and regional titles, the Panthers finished second at state with champions in the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay. He also led the girls team to a state runner-up finish. The veteran coach will receive the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association's Outstanding Service Award in March.
