Pine Crest Swim Camp comes Full Circle
Pine Crest Swim Camp comes Full Circle,
When Bradley Ally was a young swimmer growing up in Barbados, he came to Pine Crest Swim Camp to improve his skills in swimming and learn more about the sport he enjoyed so much. Bradley had such a great time at Pine Crest Swim Camp and enjoyed swimming and racing in Florida that he and his family moved to the Ft. Lauderdale area so that Bradley could develop his Olympic dream.
Bradley swam in the 2004 Olympics for Barbados and then in the summer of 2005, just prior to entering the University of Florida where he would continue his swimming, Bradley stood on the blocks between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte at the Santa Clara International Meet and won the Bronze medal in the 200IM, while representing Pine Crest Swimming. Bradley went on to be an outstanding NCAA swimmer for the University of Florida and in the summers continued to train with Pine Crest Swimming. In 2007, he became the first athlete from Barbados to win a medal at a major International competition in any sport when he won the Bronze medal in the 200IM at the Pan American Games. Bradley also swam in the 2008 Olympic Games for Barbados.
He is now training with the Pro Team from Marseille, France, for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Bradley along with his teammates from Marseille and the Pro Team from Mecklenburg Aquatics are doing their World Championship training camp at Pine Crest, Ft. Lauderdale and so the circle comes back in full as Bradley and his friends enjoy their training camp at Pine Crest Swimming.
