Pine Crest News from Missouri

Pine Crest Swimming finished the Missouri Grand Prix with great results.

Day 1

Prelims - Zeineb Khalafallah qualified for the "B" final in the 200 Freestyle, Lindsey Swartz qualified for the "C" final in the 100 Breaststroke.  Brittany Hammond is 1st alternate in the 400IM and Thomas Veale is 1st alternate in the 200 Freestyle.

Finals - Zeineb won the "B" final in the 200 Freestyle with a 2:05.33.  Thomas got to swim in the "C" final for the 200 Freestyle with a 1:56.89.  Lindsey swam in the 100 Breaststroke in the "C" final with the 1:16.30.  And finally the girls swam the 400 Freestyle Relay finishing in 7th place overall with a time of 4:02.67 (Zeineb Khalafallah, Mallory McKeon, Hannah Veale, Brittany Hammond).

Day 2

Prelims - Gotti Eisenberger qualified for the "B" finals in the 50 Freestyle.  Brittany Hammond qualified for the "B" finals in the 400 Freestyle.  Thomas Veale qualified for the "C" finals in the 400 Freestyle, and Gotti is 1st alternate in the 400 Freestyle.  Lindsey Swartz qualified for the "A" finals in the 200 Breaststroke.

Finals - Zeineb got to swim in the 50 Freestyle in the "C" final with a time of a 27.18.  Gotti finished his 50 Freestyle in a 24.11.  Brittany finished 3rd in the "B" final of the 400 Freestyle with a 4:29.29.  Thomas won the "C" final in the 400 Freestyle in a time of 4:05.84.  Lindsey finished 8th place of the "A" final in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:41.40 but her personal best time was in prelims with a time of 2:40.62 breaking the Club Record from 1985 for the 13-14 Age Group.

Day 3

Prelims - Zeineb qualified for the "B" finals in the 100 Freestyle.  Gotti qualified for the "C" finals in the 100 Freestyle.  Brittany will swim in the finals tonight for the 800 Freestyle.  Thomas Veale will swim in the finals tonight for the 1500 Freestyle.

Finals - Brittany finished 8th overall for the 800 Freestyle.  Thomas finished 8th and Austin Evenson finished 13th overall for the 1500 Freestyle.  Zeineb finished 2nd in the "B" finals of the 100 Freestyle with a 58.12.  Gotti finished 3rd in the "C" finals of the 100 Freestyle with a 52.86.
