FS vs FGC Open Water All Star Challenge Results (June 12)

Congratulations to the Pine Crest swimmer's that represented the Florida Gold Coast Open Water All Star Team.  The team started on Friday with a warm-up at the Fort Lauderdale beach and observed the 10K National Championships.  On Saturday they drove to Fort Myers for an Open Water Clinic and the Crippen 1 mile swim.

Sunday was the day for the Open Water All Star Challenge with either a 2K or 4K event.

Jamie Flores finished 10th in the 11-12 age group in the 2K Open Water

Hailey Kelly finished 13th in the 15-18 age group in the 4K Open Water

Kent Haeffner finished 2nd in the 13-14 age group in the 4K Open Water

The final team scores were:

Girls Team Scores - Florida Swimming 168.50, Florida Gold Coast 108.50

Boys Team Scores - Florida Gold Coast 154, Florida Swimming 120

Combined Team Scores - Florida Swimming 288.50, Florida Gold Coast 262.50
