3D Diving Invitational (Results)
Congratulations on the performances in the first club meet of 2012. Team members competing for Pine Crest Diving Club at the 3D Invitational in Jupiter on Saturday, January 28th included:
• Boys Team-Lower School divers Michael Harrigan-1st grade, Denny Gulia-Janovski-2nd, Kevin Mendez-2nd, and Sam Rosenthal-3rd; Middle School divers Austin Fields-8th, Hunter Fields-8th.
• Girls Team-Lower School divers: Lily Ehrlich-3rd, Shiraz Shiff-4th, Hannah Maister-5th, Ishani Singh-5th, Carly Ehrlich-7th, Juliette Pozzuoli-7th and Hannah Lindgren (Pompano)-7th.
Championship Team Award. Our Men’s Team placed first, 21 points ahead of 3D. Our Women’s team placed 2nd, 74 points behind 3D. Overall the combined Pine Crest Diving CLub men's and women's teams placed 2nd, 51 points behind the first place host team 3D. Fort Lauderdale Dive Team placed 3rd, Coral Springs Dive team-4th, Seahawks Diving Team-5th and Miami Diving-6th.
Individual High Point Awards. The top four men’s individual high point awards were earned by Pine Crest divers: Kevin Mendez, Austin Fields, Denny Gulia Janovski and Hunter Fields. The top three women’s individual high point awards were earned by Pine Crest divers: Juliette Pozzuoli, Carly Ehrlich, and Ishani Singh.
Individual event winners. Pine Crest won nine individual events. Boys-Kevin Mendez (Junior 11&U 1m,3m), Michael Harrigan (Future Champion 1m) , Sam Rosenthal (Future Champion Level 4-1m, Level 2-3m)and Girls- Juliette Pozzuoli (Junior-1m,3m) and Carly Ehrlich (Junior 1m, 3m).
Synchro event winners. Pine Crest swept the synchro events. First place tandem pairs in 13&U were Kevin Mendez/Denny Gulia Janovski and Ishani Singh/Lily Ehrlich and 14-18 winners were Austin Fields/Hunter Fields and Juliette Pozzuoli/Hannah Lindgren.
