Eight Gold Medals for Tyla Martin

Congratulations to Tyla Martin (14 years old) who just competed in the 2012 CARIFTA Games in the Bahamas over the weekend representing her country of Trinidad.  Twenty-two countries were represented at the Games.  Tyla swam in seven individual events and four relays and came home with eight Gold Medals, two of them were new CARIFTA records for the 13-14 Age Group.

100 fly - 1:03.81 (new CARIFTA record)

200 free - 2:09.73

50 fly - 29.49 (new CARIFTA record and new Club record)

400IM - 5:11.99

200IM - 2:26.62

400 free - 4:31.26

200 back - 2:29.51

800 free relay - gold
