High School Double Dual Meet (Oct 5 Results)

PIne Crest Swimming and Diving had a double dual meet with North Broward Prep, and Belen Jesuit-Our Lady of Lourdes, this past Friday at Pine Crest.  The Lady Panthers defeated Our Lady of Lourdes 204-79; and North Broward Prep 203-26; Belen Jesuit defeated Pine Crest boys 172-113; and Pine Crest boys beat North Broward Prep 185-35.  Pine Crest record for girls is now 5 wins and 1 loss; for boys it is 3 wins and 4 loss.

The Lady Panthers dominated the meet winning every event, winning the 200 Medley Relay, Miriyam Ghali, Lindsey Swartz, Tyla Martin, Jamie Flores, winning the 200 Free Relay, Kaelah Chaney, Julia Chui, Tyla Martin, Lindsey Swartz, and winning the 400 Free Relay, Kaelah Chaney, Sabrina Gornisiewicz, Amber Lubie, Anastasia Hediger.  Diving was won by Hannah Maister.  Brittany Hammond won the 200 and 500 free, Hannah Veale won the 50 free and 100 back, Kaelah Chaney won the 200 IM, Miriyam Ghali won the 100 fly, Tyla Martin won the 100 free, and Lindsey Swartz won the 100 breast.

In the boys, Kent Haeffner won the 100 and 200 free, Descartes Holland won the 50 free, Antony Novak won the diving, the 200 free relay was won by Kent Haeffner, Descartes Holland, Jack Cawley and Alex Evenson.

The Panthers will travel to Davie on Wednesday, October 10, to take on University School.
