Winter Championship (Results)

Congratulations to all our swimmers that attended the "2012 Speedo Winter Championships" this past weekend with 4-days of competition at the Plantation Aquatic Center.  There were over 1,400 swimmers attending this annual event with teams from the Florida Gold Coast, teams from outside Florida, and teams from the islands.

Pine Crest Swimming finished in 2nd place overall for the Girls Team and 3rd place overall for the Combined Team scores.  These were fantastic results as we did not enter any Open Relays and many of our swimmers that just came off the High School State Series limited their events to their non-specialties, while others were focusing on qualifying for Junior Nationals.

Congratulations to our Winter Championship Gold medals winners for individual events:  Marissa Brannan, Marta Ciesla, Casey Francis, Kent Haeffner, Tyla Martin, Jessica Nava, and Bailey Warren.
