Sun Sentinel - All County Team (Pine Crest School)

The Sun Sentinel has announced the "All County Team" for High School Swimming & Diving, below are the names from Pine Crest School.  The article will be in the press shortly.

Boys:

Kent Haeffner (11th) - 200 free, 500 free

Ladies:

Casey Francis (12th) - 200IM

Tyla Martin (10th) - 100 fly

200 Medley Relay - Miriyam Ghali, Lindsey Swartz, Tyla Martin, Kaelah Chaney

200 Free Relay - Kaelah Chaney, Casey Francis, Hannah Veale, Brittany Hammond - STATE CHAMPIONS

400 Free Relay - Tyla Martin, Casey Francis, Hannah Veale, Brittany Hammond

Carolyn Chaney (10th) - Diving STATE CHAMPION - 2nd year in a row as State Champion in Diving.  First time in at least 25 years that Pine Crest has had a State Champion two times in a row.

Brittany Hammond (12th) - 200 free, 500 free - FEMALE SWIMMER OF THE YEAR.  This marks the 8th year out of the last 9 years that Pine Crest School has had the Swimmer of the Year either as a male or female swimmer.

Jay Fitzgerald  - FEMALE COACH OF THE YEAR.  This marks the 14th time in the past 18 years that Coach Jay Fitzgerald has been either the Male or Female Coach of the Year.
