Long Course Junior Olympics (Results)

Congratulations to all our JO swimmers that competed this past weekend at the Plantation Aquatic Complex. Unfortunately due to the stormy weather, there were cancellations for finals on Friday and Saturday night and many of our relays, but we had great results in both the prelims and the finals on Sunday night.

Our individual Junior Olympic Champions were:

13-14 Age Group 50 free - Marta Ciesla

11-12 Age Group 100 breast - Matthew Petreski

13-14 Age Group 100 fly - Jessica Nava

13-14 Age Group 200 free - Rak Hovart

13-14 Age Group 50 fly - Jessica Nava

11-12 Age Group 200 breast - Matthew Petreski

11-12 Age Group 100 back - Halie Murphy

400IM which broke a 26 year old record in a time of 5:31.22

200 breaststroke which he broke his own record in a time of 2:51.07

50 breaststroke which he broke his own record in a time of 36.37
