2012-2013 Scholastic All American Team

Each year, USA Swimming recognizes its member athletes who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event. 

To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming member athlete. Eligible times must be swum between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013. This year there were 1356 individuals who made the team.

 

Congratulations to our own swimmers:

Casey Francis (2nd year for Scholastic All American Team), now swims for Penn State University

Brittany Hammond (2nd year for Scholastic All American Team), now swims for University of Missouri

Lindsey Swartz (1st year for Scholastic All American Team), currently a Junior at Pine Crest School
