New Club Records & Jordy makes A Finals at Juniors

Day 2 of the Winter Junior National Championships continues with great results.

Last Night at Finals:

First of all, Marta Ciesla (15 years old) swam the 50 freestyle and finished 1st in the B finals in a time of 22.77 which is a personal best time and NEW CLUB RECORD.  This time also puts Marta as the fastest 15 year old in the country.

Jordy Groters placed 24th overall in the 50 free in a time of 20.93.

Kent Haeffner placed 12th overall in the 500 free in a time of 4.27.68.

Day 2 Prelim Results:

100 butterfly - Jessica Nava finished in a time of 55.86, very close to her personal best and her sister Caroline Nava finished in a time of 56.28 which is a personal best time.

100 breaststroke - Lindsey Swartz finished in a time of 1:04.42 which is a personal best time and NEW CLUB RECORD.  Jordy Groters finished in a time of 55.33 which places him 4th going into the A finals and a NEW CLUB RECORD.
