ABOUT THE EPISCOPAL AMBERJAX SWIM TEAM

The Episcopal AmberJax offers one of the finest year-round USA Swimming age group and senior swim programs in the Jacksonville area. We have created a program that caters to swimmers of all ages and abilities. The Episcopal AmberJax swim team is open to all residents of the greater Jacksonville area and swimmers may join at any time during the year. 

The Episcopal AmberJax is a not-for-profit organization and a USA Swimming sanctioned team that operates under the auspices of the Episcopal School of Jacksonville. Practices and swimming-related activities are conducted year-round at the Walton Aquatic Center.

The Episcopal AmberJax is dedicated to providing the area's youth with a year-round opportunity to train and participate in the sport of swimming. Our program emphasizes technique based training for all age groups. Our coaches implement a program based on balance, core development, technique, and starts and turns. When a swimmer becomes a member of our program he or she learns the value of sportsmanship and team work. As an AmberJax swimmer, every child will gain skills that will last a lifetime.

The Episcopal School of Jacksonville's Walton Aquatic Center includes a state-of-the-art 50-meter by 25-yard outdoor pool. The pool was constructed in 1995 by Weller Pools of Orlando, Florida. The Semmes Aquatic Center has been used a venue for USA swim meets, district high school meets, Gateway Conference meets and summer league championships.
