EPISCOPAL AMBERJAX MASTERS SWIMMING
The Episcopal AmberJax Masters team is made up of all levels of swimmers, from beginners to elite. We have athletes that compete in swim meets and triathlons, as well as people who swim just for the benefit of personal fitness. Adult swimmers of any ability, age 18 and over, are welcome to join our club!
In our Masters program, coaches work to develop and improve members' swimming technique, endurance and strength through instruction and organized training. We work with people's individual goals so that each team member can get what they need from our program. We also believe that having fun is just as important!
We are constantly growing and training swimmers to maintain a well-rounded swim team. We offer a free week trial for those swimmers that are thinking about joining our program. Please contact us with any questions you may have with an email here.
The Masters Training Group is open to any adult swimmer age 18 or older. The Masters Training Group works out at the Semmes Aquatic Center on the Episcopal School of Jacksonville's campus. Masters swimmers visiting the area are welcome to train with us as well, but please bring proof of your USMS registration. The easiest way to join is to show up at practice especially Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 6:30 and speak with our dedicated Masters Coaches. Bring your suit and goggles and hop in the pool. We offer a free week trial period.
JOINING THE TEAM
When you're ready to join Episcopal AmberJax Masters Swimming, click "Register Here" and complete the online form. Once you complete this form your account will be created and you will be billed. Please do not fill out the form until you are ready to join.
To join, you must also be a member of United States Masters Swimming (USMS). To register, please visit www.usms.org and choose Holmes Lumber Jax (HLJ) as your swim club.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 5:15AM-6:45AM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30PM-8:00PM
- Saturday: 7:45AM- 9:15AM
DUES & PAYMENT POLICY
- Masters Swimming Dues are $50/month
- Fees are paid in advance for the month
- Masters swimmers must be registered with both USMS under Holmes Lumber Jax and with the Episcopal AmberJax through TeamUnify.
- Payments can be made by autopay (credit card or bank account) and all accounts must have a credit card or bank account on file (effective 8/1/19)
- Those wishing to pay by cash, or check must pay for a six-month period and the registration fee before attending the second practice.
*For all swimming programs, you must have written documentation (email Mantha Garand or Martin Zubero) before the 25th of the preceding month you wish to go inactive, or you will be obligated for the next month/season dues. Regardless of attendance. NO EXCEPTIONS.
