AUGUST CLINIC

St. Petersburg Aquatics runs a 3-week swim clinic during August at all three of our sites:  NORTH SHORE AQUATIC COMPLEX, E.H. MCLIN POOL, AND WALTER FULLER POOL, that will teach stroke drills and techniques needed for the year-round team.  This is an extension of our summer swim team program, current USA Swimming registration required, and does not require a commitment to the full year-round swim team.  Practices run for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1-hour, 5-days a week, with no specific attendance requirements.  

Important:  Younger (ages 6-7) Summer Swim League members will likely be recommended for our Green Team program, included as part of the August Clinic.  This is a 30-minute practice as listed below. The 45-minute practice, at Walter Fuller and McLin only, is coach designated as well.

August Clinic participants will get priority registration for our Junior Team, McLin, and Walter Fuller year-round programs. New year-round season begins on September 2nd.  Please click on our Training Groups tab for more information regarding our year-round program offerings.

Registration: 

Current members should pre-register no later than July 19th by emailing Patty Nardozzi at [email protected] to request pool and practice time.  Only USA Swimming registered members accepted for August Clinic.  You may also indicate if you would like to continue in the year-round program that begins on September 2, 2025.

Hold Harmless Form required by the City of St. Petersburg.  Complete at the cashier office at the pool and obtain a City of St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation scan card.

1 1/2 hour group - $75.00

One hour group - $66.00 

30-minute group - $55.00

45-minute group - $61.00
