  3. Band – This is another free app for the kids on the competitive track for additional training information.

The following links are for you to follow and register with our governing body USA swimming.

USA Swimming registration

Step 1 – go to USA Swimming and CREATE A LOGIN.

***THIS IS A PARENT LOGIN AND ALL INFORMATION SHOULD BE THE PARENT DETAILS***

DO NOT CREATE A LOGIN UNDER THE ATHLETE’S NAME UNLESS THE ATHLETE IS 16 OR OLDER.

  • If person has never set up a USAS login in the past, be sure to toggle the button to NO and complete the information. This does not refer to a past membership, just a past login set up after 9/1/2022.
  • If person already has a login account/parent portal, then skip this step. (You will need your new username and password to complete Step 2.)

Once person completes Step 1, log out of the portal and move to Step 2.

Step 2 – use the club-specific registration link to begin the registration process.  PIPELINE SWIMMING registration link.

  • Login using username and password created during Step 1.
  • IF previously registered, the member information should appear in the red-bordered box at the bottom of the page. If so, simply click the navy-blue ADD/UPGRADE MEMBERSHIPS button next to the name. Update any details and submit payment directly to USA Swimming.

  1.        Complete the team registration paper and send back to me completed.
  2.        Complete the USA swimming link and create the athlete’s account.
  3.        Download the OnDeck app to your phone’s play store.

This registration is a yearly one and is active from January 1st to December 31st.  Typically the registration notification for the next year comes out in September each year.

Communications

Download the OnDeck app after you receive the welcome email from PIPELINE swimming, and you have created your username and password.  This is one way PIPELINE will communicate with the team in case of practice adjustments.  We will NOT send an email or text message. This app is a free app on your phone so swimmers and parents can login to the same app on each phone for all to stay informed. Once we have you in our system, the OnDeck app will be how we communicate any changes.

Safety Requirement

If your swimmer is 12 years old or older, the athlete and parent will need to take the Safe Sport online class.  This is a required class for everyone. Keep in mind all these types of classes are for your child’s safety, helping them understand boundaries between athletes and authority figures.

Most asked questions

  1. Can I get the coaches number?  Please only contact.
    1. Coach Patrick – 941-228-9777 cell text is best for me.
    2. Coach Piper – [email protected] is the best way to reach her.

We do not give out the other coach’s info since most of them have full-time jobs and we don’t want them to feel like they need to work to much.  Like your swimmers is the coaches need the down time from the pool.

  1. How do my kids move up?  At the end of each month the coaches do a move up set for each group and this lets us know which child is ready for more work.  We will then reach out to you, the parents, and see if this is something you would like.  This will mean a change in practice times and days in most cases.
  2. What meets do I go to and how do we sign up?
    1. The schedule is on our website, and you can see the list of meets.
    2. You can always text coach Patrick or Coach Piper about which meets to attend.
  3. How do I get PIPELINE Gear?
    1. Hoodies, caps, T-shirts and more
  4. What equipment do my children need? You can get this from our website or by emailing coach Piper so we can get the things you need to the pool.  Once they are at the pool you will be charged on the card we have on file for you.
    1. Each swimmer is required to have a swim bag with all the gear for practice
      1. Cap, goggles, kickboard, pullbouy, fins, water bottle and mesh bag.

NO DRAMA POLICY!!!!  ATHLETES & PARENTS

Prior to joining PIPELINE SWIM TEAM everyone has had a chance to talk with the coaching team and at least 1 of the team owners i.e. Patrick Piper regarding team policies.  These policies are designed to keep our team moving forward in a positive direction.  PIPELINE is building more than great swimmers -- we are building a great team starting with the environment.  A positive environment bread great team as well as great teammate, leaders and even friends.  Our NO DRAMA POLICY is key to our teams’ success.  This policy is one part of the online registration process.  Anyone who would like a hard copy can request one for their own records.

The NO DRAMA document is for you and or your parents to read, sign and understand the importance it has with our program.  The rules for PIPELINE are NOT optional.  Any violations to these rules will result in a series of consequences that ultimately could lead to removal from the team. Breaking of these rules even by the parents could result in the athlete’s removal from the team. Keep in mind we hope it never comes to this point.
