Ames Masters Water Polo is a USA Water Polo (USAWP) Affiliated collaboration between the Des Moines Water Polo Club (DSM Polo Bears) and Ames Cyclones Aquatics Club (ACAC) for all adults (18+) of any skill level interested in the sport of water polo.
We offer practices twice a week year-round at the Ames High School Pool with USAWP-certified coaching. We also have opportunities to play in local, regional and national competitions, as well as friendly scrimmages throughout the year.
Practices are 7:30-8:30pm, Mon/Thurs at the Ames High School Pool.
Water polo is a lot of fun and an excellent sport for developing fitness and athleticism. Player safety is our number one priority, and we take sportsmanship seriously; all players are required to sign a waiver and Code of Conduct to participate.
