-No Practice this Friday

There is NO practice this Friday due to the swim meet.  Have a great weekend, and remember to sign-up for the Developmental meet next weekend. (Saturday Morning 7:30 Warm-up, meet will be over no later than 12.)

-Thunder & Lightning

Whitworth has a rule that if the lifeguard sees or hears thunder & lightning, the water will be cleared for 30 minutes.  The coaches will try to find something to do outside the water to adapt to these situations, but often times the ripples groups may be completely shut out of the water.

-Keddy

Here’s a note from Keddy:

It’s good to be back!  Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers during this time.  My wife, Amy, is still in the hospital on a ventilator.  She is conscious and everything, but is still having issues breathing on her own.  It will probably be a week or so until she’s out of the ICU, another week in the hospital down in Clarkston, and then a week as an inpatient at St. Luke’s here in Spokane .  It will be a long road for recovery, but she should be able to bounce back from this.

So many people have offered to help, and I am grateful because we will need it!  Right now, it is just Noah and I; the biggest help I need is just keeping an eye on him while I am coaching.  It doesn’t need to be a formal “babysitting” thing, but just keep your eye on him while I am at the pool and he is running around with “the pack.”  Also, if you have kids in the 2-4 range, that would be great if you could bring them to practice to play with Noah.

As we get closer to having Amy come home, we may need additional help; right now, we’re not exactly sure, but we’ll keep you posted.  Thank you so much for everything!

That’s it for the week; let me know if you have any questions.  Have a great day.
