We are run and operated by parent volunteers, it is essential that all families participate in whatever capacity they can.  If you are looking for ways to help out, please check out some of the great ideas below:

Volunteer at a Meet

For every home meet, your family will have volunteer hour responsibilities. These are outlined in the annual Service Agreement you sign at the beginning of each year. We ask that each family volunteer 20 hours total each year and 6 hours for each home meet your swimmers participate in. There is always something to do at a swim meet!

Become an Official

Join the ranks of the folks in the white shirts and blue shorts you see at each meet. Become an official!

Join the Board of Directors

Spokane Waves is a parent-run organization and our Board of Directors is the leadership team that manages the affairs, interest, and property of the organization for the good of our members: the swimmers and parents. 

Board members serve two-year terms and are voted in by Waves members during our annual meeting, usually held in July.
