Welcome to the Spokane Waves!

If you're looking for a competitive youth swim team, you've found the right place in Spokane Waves. For over 30 years, our club has focused on age-appropriate, targeted training to help our swimmers become champions in and out of the water. Our year-round team of over 150 swimmers includes kids from age 5 up to those graduating from high school. We offer training groups tailored to specific ability levels and one of our six groups is right for your swimmer, no matter what their skill level. 

We practice primarily at Whitworth University and Eastern Washington University. Many of our swim meets, especially those for younger swimmers, take place at our Whitworth facility. Our staff of trained and certified coaches bring years of experience to each group. The coaches working with our most elite swimmers are the same ones preparing our youngest swimmers for their very first meet. Our alumni have gone on to swim and study at top ranked universities across the country including UCLA, University of Arizona, University of Minnesota, University of South Dakota, San Diego State Uinversity, University of Idaho and many more.

Spokane Waves is a parent-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with an elected board of directors focused on bringing the best management practices to our club. Board meetings are held monthly and all parents are welcome to attend in person or via Google Meet link.

Our focus is not only on swimming. Most importantly, we help kids learn skills they will need throughout life: discipline, goal setting, time management, healthy habits and more. It's all done in a supportive environment filled with friendship and fun. Please feel free to ask our coach or a board member any questions you may have about joining our team.
