Coaches Note 10-20-09

Were finally here! The first travel meet of the year is this weekend, pack your bags and costumes, we’re heading down to Moscow Idaho for the annual Trick or Treat swim meet!

SWAT College Swimmer Megan Schuh

I am happy to announce that our first collegiate swimmer Megan Schuh raced in her first College meet. With a grueling schedule, (The 500 & 1650 on Friday, the 1000 & 500 on Saturday.) Megan started out her Collegiate career with a great race, and an awesome battle for first in the 500 against an opponent from Alaska. Great job Megan, We’re all proud of you!
 

Sylvia’s

The Sylvia’s order is being processed and should arrive 2-4 weeks from last Tuesday.
 

Developmental meet (11-7-09 @ 3PM)

We are getting ready to host our first developmental meet! This is an awesome opportunity to try out a swim meet, or get some experience in a volunteer job. You can sign up for events on the website; complete information for the event can be found under the Events/Meets section.
 

Pirate Night (11-6-09 @ 6 PM)

Pirate night is where our team comes out and supports Whitworth at one of their home dual meets. Our swimmers get to time and cheer for a team that has not lost a conference dual meet in over 2 years for the girls, and 10 years for the guys! After we get to hang out and talk with the swimmer during a pizza party.  Come down and watch swimming on a NCAA level, then meet the team after over a bite to eat. 
 

Trick or Treat (10 / 23-25 Moscow Idaho)

The meet is set, the entries are in, and the swimmers are prepared! This weekend is going to be filled with great swimming, and fun times. The next meet we will go to is our own Developmental meet @ Whitworth (see above). After that, the Turkey-Trot meet held in Cheney on November 20-22. If you would like to attend, please utilize the on-line sign-ups through our web site. Please take a look at meet info if you have any questions about the event: Events/Meets .
 

Office Hours (Everyday 5-5:50PM @ Fishbowl Office)

I just wanted to make everyone aware the I try to make myself available for questions everyday from 5-5:50 PM. I’m usually sitting in the fishbowl office, typing on my computer, or talking with others. Please, if you have a question about anything I’d love to try and answer it.
