Swim-A-Thon Reminders

Swim-A-Thon 2010

Hawaiian Daze

Friday, May 7th

A few reminders regarding Swim-A-Thon:

How is your fundraising going?  Swim-A-Thon is just one week away!  Please work hard this last week to raise funds for our team.  We depend on each of you for financial support of our incredible team!

We only have about half of our swimmers signed up on the website at this point.  Please sign up and plan on attending.  It is important to sign up before the event to get an accurate count for ordering pizzas and prizes.

Swimmers have up to two consecutive hours to swim a maximum of 200 lengths of the pool (not laps).  Each swimmer will need to bring a parent/friend to keep track of their laps.  Swimmers can take breaks, eat snacks, limbo, hula, and listen to music.  You may even find a little entertainment from the coaches.  Pizza and drinks will be provided.

Seniors

5:00 pm Start

Regionals

5:00 pm Start

Age Group

6:00 pm Start

Ripples (Warm-Up Pool)

5:30 pm Start

All participants will receive a prize.  They will also receive a certificate from USA Swimming and any swimmer that completes 100 or 200 laps will receive a pin from USA Swimming.  Also remember that our top 7 fundraisers from each swim group will get a party with the coaches.

Don’t forget to dress Hawaiian!  This includes parents (if you wish).  We still need some help with games.  If you go to the “Job Sign-Up” under Swim-A-Thon, we could really use a half hour of your time.

Thanks,
