Pac-Coast Recap

19 Senior Swimmers drove over to Seattle Washington to compete at one of the greatest venues in the world.  The King County Aquatics center, host of the 1990 Good Will Games, 2009 D1 NCAA Championships, and the 2009 US National meet was the place to be last weekend.  Several of the swimmers were at the pool for the first time, walking into a building that has the capability of having 10,000 screaming fans and parents.  It was a blast!  SWAT Placed 9th [787.5 points] (ahead of CAST by 100 point) out of 23 teams that scored.  About 4 of every 5 swims at the meet were best times, and 21 new team records were set.  Here’s a quick rundown of some of the new records and swims.  A link to the Results can be found Here; Keep in mind that link is only good till the end of May.  If you want to browse more results, check out the “My Meet Results” button on the left of the web-site.  There are a lot of options for looking at results, and I highly encourage you to take a look around.

Great swimming at this meet, and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the summer turns out.  Thanks to your Chaperones Brenda Bumman and Trudy Millet, we were able to videotape almost every race.  They will be uploaded on Flo-swimming by the end of the week.  Thanks again for all who made this trip a great success.  See you all at the pool
