Starlight Recap

SWAT was hot in

Wenatchee .

100+ degree weather, cloudless skies, and wild-fires couldn't compare to how our swimmers raced over the weekend.  We had 3 individual High-point winners led 39 swimmers who combined for over 150 best times, 18 team records, and a team 1st place finish at the 2010 Starlight Invitational.  Below are some of the highlights, and a few of the races are up on the SWAT Flo-Swimming page.  Awesome racing SWAT! (Title Picture is Coach Rory and Mitchel Beck preparing to go 1-2 in the 200 Breast.)

New IES Record

Rory Buck (Coach Rory) set a new Inland Empire Swimming record in the 100 Breast, blazing to a 105.72.  Needless to say, it was a team record too!

As the last meet leading up to the Championship part of the season, the coaches couldn't be happier.  We had a lot of great racing right after a lot of the hardest training portion on the year.  When we start to rest and freshen up the swimmers, great things will happen.  Can't wait to see you all at the pool, have a great day!
