SORRY, MEANT TO GET THIS OUT ON TUESDAY -- Keddy
Happy Tuesday Thursday everybody! The dog days of summer are upon us, and we have a few more practices at Witter before we take a much needed break. For the complete practice schedule, make sure you check the Calendar Tab of the website.
THIS WILL BE THE LAST COACHES NOTE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS. THE COACHES NOTE WILL RETURN ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th. MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS ONE THOROUGHLY—THERE IS A LOT OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Returning Swimmer Registration—Tuesday, September 14: Whitworth Aquatic Center
We have revamped our new swimmer registration a bit, so pay attention to the following steps:
First, please click here, and confirm that you plan to return to the Waves. If you are NOT RETURNING, email Teri Madill and let her know so we can reconcile your account ASAP. The invoices for September will be emailed out at midnight on Saturday morning.
Second, show up on Tuesday, September 14 at Whitworth. We have divided up the team alphabetically by last name in order to make the process run as smoothly as possible:
A – L: 5:30-6:00
M – R: 6:00-6:30
S – Z: 6:30-7:00
Third, please bring your swimmer(s) with you to registration. THEY WILL NOT SWIM! The coaches will meet with them and go over our Code of Conduct, as well as a few brief expectations about the year. Our first practice in the water will be Wednesday.
Finally, if you are not able to attend on Tuesday, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make arrangements to read and fill out the necessary paper work. Please show up to registration—we will only make special arrangements for extraordinary circumstances. Those arrangements can be made with Teri Madill.
New Swimmer Tryouts—Monday, September 13: Whitworth Aquatic Center
Do you know someone who is interested in joining the Waves? Excellent! First, send them a link to this website. Second, have them show up. Third, provide them with tons of moral support! The first night, will be simply a tryout. There will be no swimming for new swimmers on Tuesday, so we can register returning swimmers; the first practice will be Wednesday.
