We had eight swimmers at this year's Zone meet.  The traveled down to California along with almost 40 other of IES's best, racing agains11 other LSC's (Regions), top swimmers.  The IES placed 5th, and won the Sportsmanship/Spirit award.  From our 8 on the IES team, we managed to help set 2 meet records, win 2 events, and place 11 swims in the Top 3, and 22 swims in the Top 8.  SWAT swimmers also raced to 9 new SWAT team records.  Here are some of the Highlights:

Carlie Mcgregor: 1st in 200 IM & 400 IM, 2nd 200 Breast, 3rd 100 Breast, 3rd 100 Free

Taylor Mcgregor: 3rd in 200 Free & 400 Free, 3rd 200 Back, 4th 100 Free, 5th 100 Back

Madi Lydig: 2nd in 200 Back, 3rd 100 Back

Kaylee Beck: 7th in the 800 Free

Nate Endebrock: 8th in the 200 Free

Conner Hickey: 8th in the 100 Free

Mitchell Beck: 2nd in the 100 Breast,  4th 200 Breast, 4th 200 IM, 7th 100 Fly, 8th 100 Free

A few new team records were set as well:

Madi Lydig:  200 Back (13-14 & Open)

Conner Hickey: 100 Free & 50 Free (13-14)

Nate Endebrock: 200 Free, 800 Free, 1500 Free (13-14)

Mitchel Beck: 100 Free, 200 Breast (15-18)

I'm very proud of our swimmers, they represented our team well, both in and out of the pool.  And i'm told they sure had a lot of fun doing it.  Thanks to all the parents that helped them on their way to this special meet.  Great swimming, and enjoy the rest of the summer!
