Annual Rummage Sale/Car Wash!!

Cheney Families, Trudy Bayless did an awesome job organizing the Mama Mias fund raiser.  Now its our turn!  It is time for our Annual Rummage Sale/Car Wash!!  This is a great money maker for the team.  We average $1500 each time we have this sale.  Extra money makers like these keep our dues down!!
 
First:  We need all your donation items (empty tables do not sell well) and those of your families, friends, neighbors too!  Furniture, clothing, toys, books, household, tools, sports equipment, etc.  If you have it to get rid of, yes we want it!  Whitworth families we would love your donations as well!  Contact Colleen Geschke 220-1822 to arrange for pick up.
 
Date:  Saturday June 11th  (this is EWU Commencement Day, so will have lots of people in town!)
Where:  Cheney Trading Company Parking Lot
 
As Rachael Edwards graduated last year, we no longer have our source for tables.  If you have tables bring them, we need all the tables we can get.
 
Timeline:
 
6:45am     Need to be setting up tables
7:00           Set up
8:00           Open
8:00-1:00  Normal Sale
1:00-3:00  1/2 price sale / make us an offer we can't refuse
3:00-4:00  clean up  (the Goodwill donation drop off across the parking lot will take things that do not sell)
 
We usually run the car wash from 10:00 to 1:00.  The kids love to be part of this too!  Please no kids younger than 3rd grade.  We need at least one adult or high schooler to help supervise and to be in charge of money. And all the middle schoolers we can get!
 
We need all hands on deck for set up. Kids are great, but parents, grandparents and older siblings are really needed, too!
10+ to help with sale from 7:00 to 10:00
8+ to help with sale from 10:00 to 1:00
8+ to help with sale from 1:00 to 4:00
All hands for tear down so we are out of there by 4:00
 
Please respond back to this email so we know who we can expect and what time you are available.  We may need some man power with trucks to help pick up donations Thursday or Friday afternoon/evening.  We will know more as the time gets closer.
 
For those new to the team this year:  We make this as easy as possible.  We only put prices on the big stuff.  All clothing is $2 a bag (Cheney Trading Company has donated the bags).  This is our 4th year for the sale and it runs very smoothly.  I have 3 fanny packs to use for cash bags (We do not use a cash box).  A couple more would be great if anyone else has one.
