Triple Pentathlon Recap
Congratulations Waves swimmers and families on a fun, fast, and smooth Triple Pentathlon meet. Ninety-nine Waves swimmers competed, stopping the clock with an amazing 365 best times, 80 of which were first time swims! In order to be eligible for a pentathlon award, swimmers would have to complete all five events each day. (Picture of Dani racing to a 2nd place Podium Finish)
Rachel Millet set one new team record in the 50 Fly
FRIDAY NIGHT was the 50s for the 13 & over age group and the 500 for 12 & unders. There was some stiff competition on the women’s side, as WSU brought their team to compete. These were the pentathlon finishers and their rankings: (Bold = Podium)

On SATURDAY, all age groups had the option to swim five events. 8 & under swam 25s of all of the stokes and the 100 IM, 9-10 and 11-12 swam 50s and the 100 IM, and 13 & over swam 100s and the 200 IM.

SUNDAY was a grueling day. 8 & under swimmers competed in the 200 IM and the 50s of all of the strokes. 9-12 year olds swam the 200 IM and the 100 of each stroke, and 13 & over swimmers had to complete the 400 IM and 200 yards of each stroke! Just finishing this day is quite an accomplishment!
