Coaches Note 4-26-2011

We’re off to another great week.  Way to go team Breakers – you dominated this last pledge period!  Have fun dressing up Keddy and Neville during practice tonight and wearing your team caps.  There will be one more turn in date on Friday, May 6^th.  Get those pledges in!  You don’t have to have a huge amount to turn in – even a few dollars will qualify you to win prizes and join in your team’s award if your team wins.  This is an extremely important fundraiser for our team, and every little bit helps.  If we have 100% participation, coach Kevin has agreed to let the swimmers shave his head at the awards banquet.  (Believe me, he does not have a beautiful dome, so this is a very courageous offer!). Mark your calendars for the swim-off: May 7^th from 8-12am. 

A couple of great meets are coming up.  The Fazzari’s Neptune Invitational is May 14-15^th in Lewiston .  This will be a fun meet and our first opportunity to swim in a long course pool.  Sign ups are due by May 3^rd. 
 

The Tri-Cities Invitational in Pasco is June 3-5^th.  Entries are due by Tuesday, May 24^th.
