Thanks to all of our swimmers and parents who participated in our Developmental Meet last Saturday.  The meet ran very smoothly, and we had some fantastic swims--great job everyone!  Here is our recap of the meet.

The Trick or Treat Meet in Moscow  is this weekend.  Check the Event Page for the Psyche Sheet.  Hopefully, we'll get the timeline soon; it appears to be a fairly small meet.

Entries for the Turkey Trot Meet in Cheney will be due Tuesday, November 8.  Please get your entries in ASAP.

USA Swimming Sport Psychologist Dr. Lenny Wiersma will be visiting the Waves on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.  This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to get some insight into the mental side of swimming.  Lenny has worked with the US National Team, the US Junior National Team, and a wide variety of clubs and universities throughout the United States.  Don't Miss it!

Coach Rory will be hosting a question/answer session on Wednesday, October 19 starting at 6:30 PM for all Ripples & Recreation parents.  It will be in the lobby of the Whitworth Aquatic Center.  Again, it's a great chance to ask some questions and find out more information.

The Waves will be hosting our 4th annual Masters Sink-or-Swim meet on October 22nd. Come cheer on our masters group, help time, or just hang out for a weekend. If you want to race, just e-mail for more info.

WAVES Fundraiser:
Anyone interested in selling Holiday Poinsettias, please email Colleen Geschke, [email protected] or call  220-1822 for more information and order forms.  The team earns 45-50% and this will get credited towards your yearly fundraising commitment.  Orders are due by Nov 18 and plants will be ready for pick up Dec 1.  A great way to support the WAVES and get ready for the Holiday Season!
