All Friday practices at Whitworth will be cancelled due to a varsity swim meet.  Practices will run normally in Cheney, and will run normally on Saturday morning at Whitworth.

Parents: please make sure that your children are supervised before and after practice.  The coaches cannot be on deck doing their jobs and acting as "babysitters" in the locker rooms and lobbies at the same time.  We are guests at our pools, and need to act responsibily.  Please keep an eye on them, not only for the team, but for their own personal safety as well.  Thank you.

The entry deadline for the Turkey Trot Meet in Cheney is fast approaching.  Get those entries in ASAP!  We highly encourage all swimmers to participate in the meet!

Dr. Lenny Wiersma, a sport psychologist with USA Swimming, will be visiting the Waves on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5.  This is a FANTASTIC opportunity to get some insight into the mental side of swimming.  Lenny has worked with the US National Team, the US Junior National Team, and a wide variety of clubs and universities throughout the United States.  Don't Miss it!

WAVES Fundraiser:
Anyone interested in selling Holiday Poinsettias, please email Colleen Geschke or call 220-1822 for more information and order forms.  The team earns 45-50%, which will be credited towards your yearly fundraising commitment.  Orders are due by Nov 18 and plants will be ready for pick up Dec 1.  A great way to support the WAVES and get ready for the Holiday Season!
