USMS Northwest Zone SCY championships

USMS Northwest Zone SCY championships Recap:

Dan and Eileen Harris were the only swimmers from SWAT.  We swam both days and scored 62 points for SWAT
On Sat the first event was the 50 Free - Dan went 27.4 (not fast enough) and came in 2d to a  guy from Tacoma.  Eileen swam a 31.25 and placed 1st.  Next was the 100 Free Dan did a 1:01.01 (not fast enough) and placed 1st and Eileen did a 1:09.46 to win the women's 45-49 race.  Think these were all PRs for Eileen - she swam great!

Sun - Dan started with the 500 Free and went 6:09 (quite a bit faster than previous 500 swims) to win the Age group.   Next was the 200 Free - Dan went 2:13 best time this year by over 3 seconds and Eileen went 2:37.32 which was her best time. Eileen and I were in the same heat for the 50 Fly

(Almost missed the event since I was talking w/ Grace Volson) They held up for me as I jumped on the block . Went a 33.04 (prettly lame ) but I was tired.  Eileen went a 34.32 and we both won our age groups. 

Overall, a good meet for both of us.  Hope more SWAT master attend next year so we can put some relays together.
