Spring Fling Recap

Boise Recap.

We piled into vans, drove 7.5 hours, across state and time-zone lines to compete at the Boise Spring Fling.  15 kids, 1 coach, and 3 chaperones got out and raced a grueling schedule.  The first day was the Mile or 400IM.  Then it was followed up by the 800 the next day and the 400 the final day.  Around those other events were many of the other races.  Despite it being a very hard schedual, the first time they raced in a 50M pool this year, we raced to 35 best times, 1 team record (Jacob White in the 50M Back.) and had a blast!  Madi Lydig may have had the play of the weekend when she sunk a whole-in-one at the end of our putt-putt tournament and was greeted by a giant fireball.  Those of us who did not get that elusive whole in one got a shot of water to the face.  Can’t wait for the rest of summer!
