Developmental Meet Recap
The Waves had 116 swimmers attend the Fall Kickoff, racing their way to 194 best times. It was a fantastic meet for our team, as over 100 first time swims were raced, and we managed to qualify 5 new swimmers for our championship meet in February. Congratulations to Djatej Dariko, Echo Mecklenburg, Eliza Rhee, Mathew Norman, and Drew Kistler.
The coaches were very impressed by how well our kids are starting the year. In a meet where it was mostly about gaining experience and trying out new races, the kids exceeded our expectations and not only swam strokes well, they went very fast too! Great work Waves, and thanks to all the officials, office staff, and volunteers that made this a great experience for our little kids.
