Whitworth Lanes (the driving kind!)

Whitworth Parking Lot and Lane Use (out of the water this time),

There have been some concerns  from Whitworth Security surrounding the parking lots, fire lanes, and campus roads, so please take note:

• Drive no more than the posted 15 mph on campus, and make sure your high school drivers know this as well.

• When dropping off or picking up your swimmers, it is illegal to block the fire lane and the cross walk. Please park in the lot and either have your kids walk to the pool/car independently or leave and meet them in the lobby if they are too young to walk across  the lane and through the parking lot alone.

• Watch out for college students walking through campus at all times but especially after dark when dark clothes make them harder to see. Pedestrians do have the right of way and a college education doesn't always mean staying in the crosswalks!
