Senior Open Recap

The Waves hosted the first ever Senior Open meet this past weekend at the Whitworth Aquatic Center. This was a prelims-finals meet, designed to prepare to our Senior swimmers for the big championship meets coming up in March.

32 Waves swimmers participated, and every single swimmer got a chance to swim their races in both prelims and finals.

The Waves were led by Delaney Phillips' two team records in the 11-12 Girls 100 & 200 breaststroke events. Every swim for her on the weekend was a best time.

The 14 & younger crowd stepped up big time against some great competition from other teams and our 15 & over swimmers. There were tons of best times, and it was a fantastic all around weekend.
