Swim - A - Thon

It’s that time of year again, our main fundraiser, the Swim-a-Thon.  This is the most important fundraiser that our team does and helps with dozens of team functions.  This year we’ve added a credit card/debit card function that can help you attract sponsors.  Please take the time to check out the details and help out our team.  Even if you miss the date of the “Swim” you can still help with the fundraiser.  Check this link for more details: Swim-a-Thon 

Lenny Wiersma – All Team practice this Friday 600:-7:30PM

This Friday Lenny Wiersma will be speaking to our from 5:30-6:30PM team at Whitworth University in Weyerhaeuser Hall.  This talk will be directed at all audiences.  From 6:30-7:30 PM there will be an all team practice teaching diving, turns, backstroke starts, and a few other skills.  The parents will have a talk directed towards them and helping their athletes succeed in a happy environment.  At 7:30 the kids will be done in the pool and everyone will be ready to go home. 

We need your old goggles!

Please check out the bottom of your swim bag! Do you have old and worn out goggles hanging around? The Banquet committee is in need of those old goggles for something special for the Waves Team Banquet.

If you have some old goggles that you are willing to part with, we would love to recycle them for the Team Banquet. Please turn them in to the Waves Store (at Whitworth) ASAP! There is a collection box in the Waves Store. Thanks for taking a moment to help us out by looking around and donating!
