Coaches Note - 7/2/2013

Summer Championships  July 26^th-28^th

We would love to send as many kids as possible.  It will be held down in Tri-Cities July 26-28^th.

Sign-UP (Even if you can only go 1-2 days)

This is a meet for everyone with a time. If you have a legal time in either a 25Y or a 50M race, you may swim that event in the meet.    Every kid counts, every race matters.  3 Years ago, we got 3^rd by 1.5 points, and 2 years ago we tied for 2^nd.  Last year the Waves won the meet, and we need to have a lot of swimmers participating in order to repeat.  We would love to send 60+ kids to the meet and have relays for every age-group.  This is the best experience for kids to go out and enjoy the team aspect of swimming.  See you all there!

4^th of July.  No afternoon Practice!

There is morning practice at Witter for all groups, no Afternoon practice.

Regional, PreSenior, Senior: 8-10AM

Age Group: 8-9:20 AM

Ripples & Recreation: 9:20-10AM

There will be regular practice on the 5^th of July. (Except for Masters)

Waves Developmental Meet –Tuesday July 16^th @ Witter

Last chance to get times for Champs or qualify for Sr. Zones!

This will be a great event, an afternoon at the park with a BBQ and a chance to watch your kids get ready for Summer Champs.  Warm-ups at 4PM, Races start at 5PM.  There will be no regular practice that afternoon.

July 12-14^th: Starlight Meet in Wenatchee.

July 16^th-20^th: Sr. Sectionals – Gresham, OR

July 16^th: Waves Developmental meet 4-8PM @ Witter pool (Last qualifier for Champs)

July 26-28^th: IES Championships!  This is a team event in Tri-Cities.  If you can, please sign up!

July 31-Aug 5^th: Senior Zones in Clovis, CA

Aug 5-10: USA Swimming Junior National Championships

Aug 8-11^th Western Zones

Aug26th – September 8^th: Waves Summer break!
