Silver Anniversary Auction Needs Donations!
Hello Waves Parents,
As you know, the Silver Anniversary Dinner & Auction is scheduled for Saturday, November 1st. In order to make this event a success, we need your help in securing donations. Each swimming group has a designated theme and parent contact. You should have received an email detailing this information.
All of our efforts in contacting our friends, families, and enlisting merchants for their donations to our baskets will make this a great fundraiser and a fantastic event! We are hoping to have all donations in by October 24th (preferably earlier) to the swim group parents that are heading up the basket collections. Please keep in mind that it takes some businesses time to get authorization for donations, so ask as early as you can!
Would you like to donate something that doesn’t fit your swim group’s theme? We’ll gladly take them! We can use any donation to set up additional baskets or raffle prizes to add variety to the themes in our auction! Have any baskets hanging around that the parent coordinators can use to package/display these bidding bundles? We’ll take those too!
Don’t forget that your auction tickets ($40 each) are on sale at the Waves Store. You can pay with exact cash, check, or bill the tickets to your account. Priority seating will be reserved for those who are interested in becoming a Table Captain (responsible for purchasing all 8 tickets). The more table captains we have the better the opportunity to introduce others to the Spokane Waves!
