CAST Meet this weekend
SWAT has 88 Swimmers headed to Coeur D’Alene this weekend for the Fall Splash. This is an excellent chance for coaches and swimmers to see where the swimmers are in their season and what we need to do keep moving forward and preparing for our championship meets.
CAST Fall Splash is the last chance for swimmers to qualify for the WA State Meet!
The WA Sr. State Meet is an Open meet which means anyone who achieves the qualifying time can attend, regardless of age. Younger swimmers are encouraged to attend higher level competitions such as this in order to gain the experience. Experience is the greatest teacher, and in order for our swimmers to feel more comfortable at high level competitions, swimmers must experience them as soon and as often as possible. The experience gained is cumulative, not just for the individual but for the team. The more swimmers we have competing at higher levels earlier and as often as possible will serve to elevate all who are around the athlete as the knowledge gained is taught through conversation and relative experience.
