Meet Results and Highlights
SWAT swimmers had more great swims at the USA Swimming Junior Nationals and Reindeer Splash this past weekend. Overall, SWAT swimmers raced to 5 New Team Records and 26 New All Time Top 10 swims.
Senior Swimmer Evonne Stehr attended the USA swimming Jr Nationals in Iowa City, Iowa. Evonne swam three out of four Best Times, achieving Three Team Records and significantly improved in her overall ranking at the Meet. Evonne’s Open Team Record of 1:51.03 in the Women’s 200 Free makes her the fastest 200 Freestyler in SWAT History.
This was Evonne’s first Junior National experience, she represented herself and SWAT well.

Reindeer Splash swimmers had more outstanding time drops this past weekend in Clarkston, WA
Swimmer Michael Hochwalt earned two New Team Records in the 11-12 Boys 1000 Free (11:39.23) and 200 IM (2:18.44). SWAT also had Nine Swimmers achieve a Top 3 High Point finish, with swimmers: Ben Djatej, Karlee Pfarr, Brett Butler, and Halle Kuhar-Pitters taking home the 1st Place High Point Award in their respective age group. Great Job Team!
We still have one meet left to close out 2017. Our Sr State Swimmers are leaving this Thursday for Federal Way. When you see them on deck these next few days wish them well, we’re ready to Race!
