SWAT, Update, Registration Deadline Extented Sprint Shootout, New Coach

This has been a great first week back indoors.

Thank you to all the parents that are assisting the new parents and prospective swimmers trying out. We have had a lot of interest and have registered over 20 new swimmers register for the team and swim lessons so far.

This is an excellent first meet for our beginner swimmers with shorter distances and a relaxed atmosphere. This is also a great warm up for our returning swimmers.

New Coach on Deck

We’ve got a new coach on deck at EWU. Please welcome Coach Hans Johnsen. Coach Hans comes to Spokane from Bellingham, Wa where he was the Head Age Group Coach for the Bellingham Bay Swim Team from 2014- Aug 2018. Coach Hans brings a lot experience to the pool deck having coached multiple Team Record holders, National Top 200 ranking swimmers and multiple Regional Top 8 finishers. If you see Coach Hans on deck please take the time to introduce yourself and welcome him to Spokane.

New Parent Orientation

There will be a New Parent Orientation Next Wednesday 6pm at Whitworth University in the lobby. All New Parents as well as returning Ripple and Bronze parents are encouraged to attend to answer any questions you might have about the process that is swimming.
