SWAT Races to a Record-Breaking Finish for the 2023 Long Course Season

Sectionals, IES Championships, Senior Zones, Jr. Nationals and Age Group Zones All took place in the last four weeks.

Spokane Waves athletes finished the 2023 Long Course Championship season with some outstanding performances.

Congratulations Junior National Champion Michael Hochwalt

Michael Placed 1st in the 200 IM at the 2023 USA Swimming LC Junior Nationals achieving a new 2024 Olympic Trial Qualifying Time and breaking the Team and IES Record in the process. This is SWAT’s first Junior National Title.  Michael also placed 3rd in the 200 Fly and had the third fastest time of the meet in the 200 Backstroke.
