Update, January 10 2025

Happy New Year,

We hope everyone had a great Holiday season and got to enjoy some time with friends and family.

A few updates this month:

College Dual Meets in the Northwest,

For those you that haven’t been to a college dual meet, its an excellent sporting event to attend.

Athletes and parents alike learn a lot by watching two teams dual it out. The energy at these meets have a similar feel to the excitement of a Championship Meet at Finals. It gives everyone a chance to witness the college swimming world and it gives some perspective on the level of swimming that exists out there.

There are several dual meets in our area this month.

Whitworth vs Lewis & Clark

No Practice at Whitworth Next Friday, January 17. There is a Whitworth dual meet against Lewis and Clark at the aquatic center. The meet will start at 6pm.

Seniors still have regularly scheduled practice at the YMCA 3:30-5:30pm.

WSU and  Idaho Dual Meet Invitation

What Meet to Attend

Coaches don’t expect families to attend both meets. If you can only attend one it is recommended that 12 & Under swimmers attend the Tri City invite in Moses Lake and the 13 & Over swimmers attend the Cougar Invite in Pullman. All athletes are welcome at either if they want to race at both meets.
