Diving WINTER Session 12/1/2025 - 3/1/2026 (11 weeks)

- All NEW 8th grade & under divers must email coach Tony at [email protected] for group placement in the winter. NO placement dates this winter so please email before registering for proper placement.
- High School divers may choose groups based on amount of practice and group description
8th Grade and Under groups
Development Groups – Beginner and Intermediate
YELLOW & GREEN
This group is designed for 8th Grade and younger divers with some previous diving experience as well as divers with no diving experience at all. Intermediate level divers can participate in both groups if approved by coach Tony.
YELLOW - Saturdays 4:00-4:45pm at GBN

PreTeam Groups - Advanced
PINK & PURPLE
This group is designed for 8th Grade and younger divers with previous diving experience at a club program or a summer park district or country club program. Divers in this group will dive and flip in multiple directions. This group will practice both 1m and 3m springboards. Divers in this group will compete in local meets. Minimum Front Dive, Back Dive, Inward Dive and Front Flip required. New divers with very strong gymnastics backgrounds could be eligible for this group even with no diving experience.

Team Group - Competitive
WHITE
This group is designed for 8th Grade and younger divers with lots of previous diving experience. This group is by invite only. Divers in this group are meeting or working towards meeting JO requirements for age groups on both 1m and 3m. This group will practice both 1m and 3m springboards as well as platform. Divers will participate in gymnastics dryland, pool and diving dryland practices. This group is focused on qualifying and competing at the National Championships and should practice at least 4 times per week
WHITE - Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-8:00pm at GBN, Sundays 10:15-12:15pm at GBN

High School Groups
Development Groups –
BLUE & RED
This group is designed for high school divers to focus on 1m diving and stay in shape and prepare for the upcoming IHSA season. No tryout required for High School divers. This group is open to beginner as well as advanced divers. Blue is 1 day per week and Red is 2 days per week practice.
BLUE - Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm at GBN OR Sundays 1:45-3:15pm at GBN

Team Group - Competitive
BLACK
This group is designed for high school divers with previous diving experience. Divers in this group are looking to be competitive on the local, regional and/or national level. This group will practice both 1m and 3m springboards. Divers will participate in gymnastics dryland, pool and diving dryland practices. This group is focused on competing and the possibility of diving in college at non power conference levels.
BLACK - Mondays & Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm at GBN, Sundays 1:45-3:45pm at GBN

National Team Groups – Competitive
SNT (SR National Team)
This group is by invitation only. Divers in this group are looking to be competitive on the local, regional and national levels. This group will practice both 1m and 3m springboards as well as platform. Divers will participate in gymnastics dryland, pool and diving dryland practices. This group is focused on competing and the possibility of diving in college at all DI level schools. International competition opportunities will be available for qualifying divers. This group will have attendance and effort requirements. This is a higher DI level college prep group focused on National level competition. Sports psych, video analysis and additional workouts to be provided in this group. Expectations for this group will be discussed frequently and will be based on college track. SNT - Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00-9:00pm Saturdays 4:00-5:30pm Sundays 1:45-3:45pm at GBN

3m CLINIC
THIS IS A HIGH SCHOOL DIVING CLINIC FOR 3M DIVING. This is a weekly Clinic for 3m diving for divers in their high school season and is open to anyone in high school who is not registered with club diving this fall. This group is for Black and SNT group divers while they are in HS season, so they don’t lose 3m practice time.
HS 3m Clinic – Mondays 7:00-9:00pm at GBN, Saturdays 4:00-5:30pm at GBN

We regret that refunds after the first day of the season will not be approved. Any refunds requested prior to the first day of the season will be processed by the school district's business office via paper check. (Note: Credit card fees if applicable are never refunded.)
