Magda, Thank You.
Below you will find a statement from Magdalena (Magda) Glotzer regarding her next-steps after her last day of employment with M3 Aquatics the M3A Swim School on Feb. 28. Magda, on behalf of all the coaching staff thank you for your leaderhsip, energy, and friendship. It was your vision that helped us earn our fins. We wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors.

I want to thank Coach Kate for trusting me to build the Swim School from the ground up and for the team of coaches — Ben, Mo, Rob, and Mirko for helping me along the way. It has been a true pleasure watching the swim school grow from just over 40 students to 80+ per session, and to work with so many incredible athletes. Seeing students make the transition to swim team makes me so proud of our team of instructors, and I know I am leaving the school with the best of the best.
The community at M3A is like no other. It’s really a family. Thank you to everyone who helped my family look for our dog when he got lost; thank you to those who came to cheer for me at the Chicago Triathlon, and most of all, thank you for trusting me with your athletes. Getting to share my love for swimming and triathlon has been a joy; every time a parent tells me that their child has gotten the swimming bug, or talks about swim lessons at dinner, or had a blast at a pool party, it’s a reminder of why we run our program.
I’m really excited to see where Jon takes the swim school. He is dedicated to aquatics and the mission of the program. He has fresh ideas and I know he will do a great job developing the program. I am grateful to have been part of M3A for over two years and I would love to stay up to date on all of the M3A athletes and Swim School students as they continue their adventure with aquatics.
As for me, I’m taking a little break to focus on triathlon. I’m racing Oceanside 70.3 on April 6th as part of Team Athletic of Athletic Brewing Company. My hope is to qualify for World Championships in New Zealand and get a step closer to getting my pro card. My training is up to 15+ hours a week, so not sure I’ll have time for much else outside of that, but I am also hoping to take some courses online in programming, cybersecurity, or something similar. I don’t know what happens after that, but I’m excited for this next chapter!
Thank you,
Magda
