Parent / Caregiver Resources
Welcome to the team!
The M3 Aquatics coaching staff and team know the importance of family involvement in each athlete’s experience. We are excited to have your involvement in our team – whether you sign up to be a swim official (more info here), or you volunteer at events, join a carpool to swim meets or practices, or if you are in the stands cheering on our committed athletes – it all makes a difference for you and your swimmer.
Below are some wonderful resources for you as you become more familiar with the sport and the ways in which you can support your athlete.
Connect on Social Media: Whether on the parent “what’s app” group (talk to the group coach to be added to the group chat) or through Facebook, you can stay connected with the latest updates from coaches and the team by being connected.
M3 Aquatics Parent/Caregiver Handbook: Your guide to better understand the sport of swimming (including some swim terms) (updated 2025)
Become a Swim Official: Many parents have found that being a swim official is a great way to get involved, learn more about swimming, make friends with others, and be “on deck” during meets. If you are interested in knowing more about the rewards of officiating, reach out to one of our M3A officials.
Swim Meets: Swim meets are an important part of the swimming experience. Swim meets are where athletes get to experience the results of the hard work put into practices. It is also an exciting atmosphere, and we look forward to having you in the stands cheering everyone on and your athlete joining us on deck for the racing experience. If you have difficulty getting to a swim meet, reach out to other parents. There are always other parents driving and often there will be space to fit another swimmer.
Required forms: Please review the documents below, complete and sign, and then return to your coach.
